A picture of a solved puzzle

Overview

CMS is short for Content Management System. A site which incorporates a CMS will be split into two parts, a front-end (the customer facing aspect of your site) and the back-end (the way you control what information is entered into the front-end). The CMS itself is the method or framework through which the back-end operates and therefore, governs how and what you can control the front-end.

It sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is. The CMS is your customised control centre, that simple. For most sites this is the most important aspect and underpins all aspects of its functionality. As a result it is important that you get it right. Fuse internet uses Typo3 to develop its CMS. We have more information on Typo3 in other sections of the site; click here for more.

In order to help you create the most appropriate CMS for you, we have developed an options list on the following page. It lists, with basic information, all the CMS features we can offer you with an approximate price. This list is in no way exhaustive and if you have any questions about what you see here please contact us. If you are finding all this information a bit overwhelming or simply aren't sure what type of site best suits your needs, it may be worthwhile completing our questionnaire. This questionnaire will guide you through the main considerations when commissioning a website and hopefully solidify in you mind exactly what it is your business needs. Click here to have a look at the questionnaire.

We have also constructed three template orientated packages, click here. There are a choice of design templates and each package has varying levels of CMS functionality. From the relatively straightforward, introductory package through to the advanced package which has a great deal of functionality and scope, these template options represent a fantastic opportunity to get a CMS driven website at a low cost.

There are other sections of the site which include information about CMS, please click here for more.
